...In this blog anyway. I say that because there is no sound. Which I guess is technically true of all my blogs so I have no idea why I decided to pick this one out to let the hearing impaired know that this was a safe place for them...but enough rambling. I wanted to hop on here really quick and post some pictures I took the other day. I'm working on a full scale write up of my life as it currently stands and a comparison of my new base with my old one but until I get that finished here's some pretties for you to look at.
PS, I realized after I'd already done all of this that it would probably be better to do the captions on top of the pics...but I'm too lazy to fix it so deal with it ;)
Next is my favorite place on base. Pizza! For just 5 Euros I can have a whole pizza to call my own...until I devour it in a greasy, cheesy cloud of pure bliss and ecstasy.
This is a veiw of some of our mountains. Spin B had a few here and there and a nice range on one side. Here they're everywhere. I'm pretty much completely surrounded by them.
This is our DFAC. It's one of the most oddly laid out structures I've even been in. Everything you see in that picture is part of the DFAC.
Next up on the tour are a couple of pictures of our little shopping center. I'm not sure how clear it all came out but it's basically a whole lot of small shops and a couple of places to eat.
Grass! This is exciting for me because what very, very little plant life we had at Spin B looked like it wanted to swallow my soul.
OK, so the pizzeria is my favorite place on base but this is definitely my favorite thing. It's a LATCH...that's on my DOOR! I finally have a little bit of space that is truly mine.
Speaking of a space to call mine: this is my little room.
And I know this was the photo you've all been waiting for. That's right, the beard is back WITH A VENGEANCE!!!
